{rescued animals}

This is Mow (white fluff ball on the left) & Milo (orange strips on the right). Both were rescued and have been the best pets. They never try to get out of the house (knock on wood), the cat we had growing up was constantly trying to get out. It's as if they remember how miserable it was without a home and they're more than content to stay put. I will always rescue animals, they are so grateful & appreciative and there are so many animals in need of good homes. I am amazed at how much they enjoy each other. I've only had Milo since October and I was pretty worried how Mow, who I've had for over a year, would deal with living with another cat. As you can see there wasn't much to worry about......... they 'heart' each other! Mow has the best personality, he'll meow at the dresser until I pull a drawer out for him to climb in. He's so nosey, he follows me around the house-I call him my little white shadow. He doesn't really like to be held but he's always near by, hanging out, watching me clean or laying at the foot of the bed while I read...... I also call mush or mushy-moo....he's just so cute & soft you just want to mush him!
He lays upside down all the time, I call it his budda belly. I was hanging some new frames & had the step ladder out. I caught him sleeping under the ladder belly side up. He woke up & started chewing on the ladder before I could get a shot......
Milo is pretty much the opposite of Mow, he's a climber. There isn't a cabinet, armoire or shelf he hasn't jumped up to and he's taught Mow a thing or two about climbing as well. He's also the love-y-est cat, all you have to do is look at him & he flops on his side purring. I've never known a cat who loves water like he does. He will come running whenever he hears running water & watch in amazement as it swirls it's way down the drain. He likes to hang out in bathroom during showers and every morning while I'm getting ready he keeps me company curled up in the sink.
I can't imagine if I hadn't found them, they make me laugh every day. Even when Mow has shredded his 500th roll of toilet paper (why he does this I don't know but it never fails if a bathroom door is left open he will destroy the entire roll) I couldn't have planned for better pets. So if you're looking for a pet, look into rescuing or adopting- you won't regret it.
