{site update & boy was it long overdue!}

I updated the site this weekend and added a lot of new photographs to the portfolios, so go check it out!

How cute are these little faces? Our neighbor (from HealthQuest) Sherry has a pug, Ava, and Ava recently had 3 gorgeous puppies, Daisy, Frank (the tank) & Roni. She brought them in for a shoot along with her beautiful granddaughter Sarah and what a time we had chasing the little roly poly cuties around the studio. Nicole couldn't resist the cuteness either and decided to join us in the studio during the shoot. And thank goodness she did, we needed the extra hands - 4 excited dogs with only 3 adults to contain them made for one funny hour.

{leo's first birthday} -michigan child photographer-

In my recent Christmas card post I mentioned the photograph of Leo was taken at his first birthday so I thought I'd share a bit more of his party. His mom, Jamie went all out with his Super Silly Fiesta theme....

I love this family, it's become tradition for them to come in each fall for a family shoot. They are so much fun to photograph, it's definitely not difficult to get genuine smiles with these guys. How hard is my job? I get to hang out with fun people for an hour or so, laugh, have a good time & get some great shots they & I love. And it's great to see how the kids have grown & to just have the opportunity to document this wonderful family!
