{ladies love free bags}

What a turn out we had for Ladies Night Out on Friday. Aside from a tornado the weather really couldn't have been worse, the closer it got to 5pm the darker the skies became. But we had a record turn out and considering it rained & HAILED on off the entire time we couldn't have asked for more.

{a few photos of the prep....tables lined up with items for the bags, nicole -from morgan's boutique- helped distribute the balloons. i love that she let me take a photo of her crazy static-y hair from the balloons. she braved the wind & had to untangle each set of balloons she delivered -over 100- & as a result has now developed a deep hatred for all balloons.}

{the studio before the masses descended...i should have photos of the ladies waiting in line but we were so busy there was no time for picture taking at that point. nicole -something blue- had a trunk show of local bridal accessory designer arbie goodlfellow.}

{and i had some yummy cake bites from the appetizer lady -jacqui blackwood-. well they looked yummy, they were gone in about 15 minutes. and i had to show the photo of my brother-in-law galon. he rode his bike (as in bicycle) downtown in the pouring rain to see what we've been working on for the last month. it's only a 3 minute ride but the dude was soaked.}

{and the last pic is angel & savanah, mother & daughter who braved the wind, rain & hail to check out our little event. they were so funny i told them i had to get a pic & add them to the blog post. angels whole left side is drenched because as she put it, she had to share the umbrella with her skinny daughter (who stayed dry) and only her right side was under the umbrella. they had us in stitches they were so funny. they left with savanah telling us, "we're like the osbournes only no one believes it. especially when we tell them my mom is a pastors wife.}

It was a great night! Thanks to everyone who braved the elements. I really need to thank Nicole Saunders, Nicole Kilpatrick & Holly Jablonski for all their hard work helping to organize this event. And a big thank you to my sister & mom as well as Sandra Klevin {holly chamber of commerce} for helping pass out bags! Ladies Night Out wouldn't have been the success it was without your help, thanks ladies!
